Price is Right model’s $29,000 blunder

THE price was definitely right for this lucky winner. A Price is Right contestant won a brand-new car without even trying after the model accidentally revealed the price. 

Contestant Andrea was given three chances to guess the price tag of a Hyundai Sonata SE.

After model Manuela Arbelaez removed a card to reveal that Andrea’s first guess was wrong, she accidentally removed another, unveiling the correct answer.

“I won it!” screamed Andrea, who was over the moon.

Host Drew Carey laughed: “Hey, congratulations! Manuela just gave you a car!”

The car was worth $US21,960 ($29,900).

The mortified model hid behind one of the props as Carey tried to comfort her.At one point, it appeared like she was wiping away tears.
